Our products are made from non-toxic materials. Clay Critters reformulated our base resin in 1991 and insisted that it be free of heavy metal pigments such as lead, and use a safe phthlate plasticizer. We don’t market or recommend our product as children’s toys, but we have voluntarily met the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 concerning lead and phthlates.
